How did I get here?
The back story
My background is varied and covers different industries (and countries). I worked in the home and hardware industry, higher education and recycling sectors. In my late 40s I became a business owner for the first time- starting a Property Styling and Interiors business.
Once upon a time.....
I dipped my toes into web design many years ago- circa 2004 when I enrolled in my first web design course. As part of my role in my uni job, I worked as a web content manager. Over a decade I learned many aspects that make or break successful websites.
My first business
In 2017 when I decided to start my property styling business, I discovered Squarespace. It was love at first ‘site’. Property Styling wasn’t for me. I decided to combine my love for design and tech offering web design- in particular to other ‘late-bloomer’ entrepreneurs.
I'm in it with more than just my brain. My heart comes along for the ride

When I’m not dreaming up new client websites or gobbling up yet another subject that sparked my curiosity, you’ll likely find me exploring the suburbs of Melbourne with my husband, teenage son and our cavoodle Moby.
Originally from Germany, I met my Australian husband on the Greek Islands what seems like a lifetime ago.
Other than that...
I’ve lived in 3 countries.
I love cats and dogs equally. Controversial?
I’d love to know how to sing. And speak Italian.
I dread shopping but LOVE a new outfit.
NYC is my ultimate dream destination.
Now, what does that make me? An adventurer? A nerd? A risk-taker?
