SafeSnooze, Mattress Sanitising
Mariza from SafeSnooze came to me with a great foundation- professional branding. She started to design the website herself but struggled to get the overall look and feel right. She was unsure about SEO optimisation and finding photos that worked for the brand.
About the project: Mariza provided me with a range of photos and I picked the ones that I felt worked best. I made sure the lighting and style matched as much as possible even if they came from different photographers. We agreed on a split layout design which works great on mobile. It’s a new and different type of mattress cleaning (and sanitising), and we needed to balance educating website visitors by providing them with information but not overwhelming them.
The addition of a blog will help to increase awareness for her business. For the newsletter, we kept it simple and connected to Mailchimp.
Customizations: I created a lot of custom icons to break up the text, bullet points and created background pictures incorporating part of the logo, and used code to achieve the split layout design and other features.
Your service has been impeccable. Before working with you I was worried a web designer won’t "get" my business and what I want to say through the website. I now have a professional-looking website that I can be proud of. I feel confident that my service offering is portrayed in a way that will let viewers feel confident that I know what I am talking about.
